I collaborated with Forbin’s Lead Designer and Art Director, Shawn Rice, to develop pre-roll labels that brought fresh energy to Vermont’s growing cannabis industry. Instead of relying on strain names, these pre-rolls were tied to the seasons of their release, a concept that set them apart on crowded shelves.
The illustrations were designed to harmonize with Forbin’s brand identity while also accommodating the dense compliance information required on cannabis packaging. Given the limited surface area, we worked closely with manufacturers to explore metallic finishes, applying selective white layers at varying densities to create depth and shine. The final designs are vibrant and eye-catching, with a holographic quality that feels playful yet professional, striking the right balance between regulatory demands and brand personality.

I designed a full-page newspaper advertisement to promote a local pumpkin carving contest, adapting Forbin’s existing brand assets into a bold, seasonal composition. The centerpiece of the design was a pre-roll illustration featuring a carved pumpkin head, which I expanded into a larger visual system that could hold attention in print.
The challenge was to repurpose familiar brand elements in a way that felt fresh and event-specific, while still remaining consistent with Forbin’s identity. By adjusting typography, rebalancing colors, and layering graphic elements, I created a composition that was both recognizable and unique.
The result was a playful, eye-catching poster that stood out on the page and captured the festive spirit of the contest while staying true to the brand.

I updated a series of pre-existing sell sheet templates to feature new cannabis products. This work involved refreshing product photography, adjusting colors, and updating copy while maintaining consistency with the established layout and brand guidelines.
The focus was on precision and consistency rather than new creative development. By carefully formatting dense product descriptions and compliance information, I ensured the updated sheets remained clear, accurate, and professional.
These updates provided retailers with reliable, up-to-date sales materials that supported product education and purchasing decisions, while demonstrating my ability to handle production-oriented design tasks with accuracy and efficiency.
